The 2025 NFL Draft presents an incredibly tough decision at the top for the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns. These quarterback-needy teams have to find a new franchise star, but will they fall in love with either Shedeur Sanders or Cameron Ward? Or will they opt for someone like Abdul Carter and land a Day 2 quarterback instead?
NFL Draft Analyst and former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah weighed in on Sanders' game, saying, "There's pretty split opinions around the league on Shedeur Sanders." But he also had a lot of good things to say, and we found many of his positives make him a good option for the Titans and Browns.

Jeremiah expanded, saying, "He has a pure throwing motion, he's a natural thrower. It's real pretty how the ball comes out of his hand. He's extremely accurate and incredibly tough. He had the living tar beat out of him over the last few years there at Colorado."
He's right. While Sanders draws justified criticism for extending plays and taking too many sacks, he's a naturally pinpoint passer who avoids turnovers extremely well. His throwing motion has significantly improved, and is a testament of his work ethic.
Jeremiah also added some of the negatives before comparing his game to Ward's.
"He doesn't have elite size, doesn't have an elite arm, and isn't an elite athlete. Everything he does is right here; he doesn't do those things over the line…You get him in the right place, you protect him, he's a point guard. That's where some of the disconnect comes around the league…He can be very, very efficient.
I have Cam Ward, right now, over him. But I have both those guys as the top two guys. There's so many quarterback-needy teams that are going to have opportunities in the top 10, I think they both go in the top 10. [Ward] has more life in his arm and he's a little more explosive as an athlete when he takes off and goes. I think he expands your playbook a little bit more. Both of them have played a ton of football. I think he's about 25 pounds heavier. He's just a bigger, sturdier, stronger dude."
