The Ohio State Buckeyes are traveling to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday in a matchup of top five teams. On paper, this should be a decisive victory for Ohio State. The abundance of talent they have on this roster is almost on an absurd level.
When you talk about prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft, it perfectly showcases just how talented the roster really is. Here are the main headliners to know that your favorite team could select this April.
QB Will Howard – 6040v, 243v
The former Kansas State transfer isn’t anything special from an overall talent perspective, but he brings several traits that the NFL will value. That includes a huge frame, solid overall accuracy, and enough mobility to keep the chains moving.
RB Quinshon Judkins – 5111v, 219v
Judkins was a massive victory in the transfer portal this offseason from Ole Miss. The NFL is high on Judkins, carrying several top 100 grades prior to the season. He is a physical downhill runner with impressive acceleration, although there are some questions about vision, and passing game impact.
RB TreyVeon Henderson – 5100v, 214v
When valuing running backs, it’s important to identify unique traits. Henderson has that with his long speed, possessing big play upside and dynamic ability. He should have a clear path as a committee runner in the NFL.
WR Emeka Egbuka – 6006v, 204v
After an injury riddled 2023 season, Egbuka looks back to his old self this season. When he’s at his best, Egbuka is an easy separator out of the slot with YAC ability, which could land him in the first round this April.
IOL Donovan Jackson – 6033v, 318v
It feels like Jackson has been around forever, and now he’s one of the top interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class. Jackson is a nice balance of overall athleticism, power, and experience.
IOL Seth McLaughlin – 6035v, 305v
McLaughlin was a player that people made some jokes about when he transferred from Alabama due to his snapping issues with the Crimson Tide, but he has been tremendous for the Buckeyes. He isn’t the most overly talented player so we are looking at a Day Three player but he has improved his stock tremendously in Columbus.
Oregon DT Derrick Harmon 2025 NFL Draft Profile
Scouting report for Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon
EDGE JT Tuimoloau – 6041v, 268v
People have been waiting for Tuimoloau to take the next step for some time now, but this might just be who he is. That’s a solid NFL contributor who lacks big time traits, but could be a solid starter on the next level.
EDGE Jack Sawyer – 6042v, 265v
There’s nothing overly flashy about Sawyer as a pass rusher. Whether it is in the run or pass game, Sawyer plays with aggressiveness and urgency. He is your prototypical edge setter.
IDL Tyleik Williams – 6024v, 325v
Good luck moving Williams at the point of attack, possessing a dense build, strong hands, and a premier power profile. You are looking at a plus starter on the next level who specializes in stopping the run.
IDL Ty Hamilton – 6024v, 295v
Hamilton is the underrated interior player in comparison to Williams. He also makes his biggest impact in the run game. While he won’t have a ton of backfield production, Hamilton certainly serves a role.
LB Sonny Styles – 6042v, 239v
There is no guarantee that Styles enters the 2025 NFL Draft class with eligibility remaining. From a talent perspective, there aren’t many better linebackers in college football. Styles is an impressive athlete with loads of versatility to tap into.
CB Denzel Burke – 5112v, 193v
The last couple of weeks have been rough for Burke, who had mostly been tremendous the last year and a half. When Burke is at his best, he is a physical cover man with tremendous zone instincts. He has starter upside in the right system.
CB Davison Igbinosun – 6016v, 190v
Between Igbinosun and Burke, he is the much more natural athlete. His physicality can be shotty at times, but his movement skills are impressive. A jump in his game is needed to develop into a solid starter on the next level.
CB Jordan Hancock – 6000v, 190v
With the two outside cornerbacks on the team, Hancock has been relegated to the slot. He has outside man coverage skills from that spot, and has notable movement skills, and physically that has plus starter upside on the next level.
S Lathan Ransom – 6010v, 205v
It’s unclear if Ransom will be fully available for this game against Penn State, but he has been tremendous this season. When healthy, he has been a tremendous football player. That injury history will be the biggest question.
