The record for most prospects selected in one NFL Draft from the same school is 15, set by the Georgia Bulldogs in 2022. Michigan is looking to break that record now in 2023 with 18 prospects getting invited to this year's NFL Combine.
No other college football program came even close to Michigan's total NFL Combine invites this draft cycle, as I outlined here in the post below.
It shouldn't be a surprise that Washington, the national championship runner-up to Michigan, came in second with 13 NFL Combine invites this year. They were an extremely veteran-heavy bunch with immense talent on both sides of the ball.
Florida State, Texas, Georgia, Penn State, and Alabama all finished inside the Top Ten of the final College Football Playoff rankings, so it's no surprise that they all sent double-digit players to the NFL Combine as well.
But who are these 18 Michigan Wolverines, and will they all actually get drafted?

Based on recent NFL Mock Draft data (100+ mocks over the last six weeks) J.J. McCarthy is the only player with any real shot at first round NFL Draft capital among this talent bunch. However, there are several others who project to be drafted somewhere.
Blake Corum, Junior Colson, Kris Jenkins, and Roman Wilson are all consensus Day Two picks right now. Mike Sainristil and Zak Zinter are both certainly in the mix as potential Top 100 players too.
After that, among the other 11 Michigan NFL Combine invitees only Karsen Barnhart and Trente Jones look like real long shots for NFL Draft capital.
As long as these players all perform well at the NFL Combine Michigan has a real shot to break Georgia's single-draft record of 15 players selected this year!
