The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine kicks off next week. And the best of the best in the 2024 NFL Draft class will be in Indianapolis to display their skills.

Typical to this time of year, all eyes are on the incoming QB class, and thanks to a couple of insiders, we now know who will be throwing and who has elected not to.

Caleb Williams, USC

The odds favorite to be selected first in the 2024 NFL Draft is USC QB Caleb Williams. And it seems he may feel confident about those odds as Bleacher Report's NFL Insider Jordan Schultz shared that Williams will not throw at the Scouting Combine.

Jayden Daniels, LSU

The reigning Heisman winner Jayden Daniels may not be the consensus number one pick in the 2024 NFL Draft but the QB is still expected to hear his name high in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. But similar to Williams, he seems to feel good enough about his draft stock to wait until his pro day to throw, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Daniels will not throw at the Scouting Combine.

J.J. McCarthy, Michigan

A QB getting more love than I expected so far through this draft process is Michigan's J.J. McCarthy. McCarthy will get the chance to build on that buzz as Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz shared that McCarthy will throw at the Scouting Combine.

Michael Penix Jr., Washington

Michael Penix Jr. is coming off a big season at Washington, where he led the Huskies to the College Football Playoffs, where he led his team to a first-round win to advance to the National Championship, where they lost to Michigan. Penix Jr. already participated at the 2024 Senior Bowl and will continue that mindset as Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz reported that Penix Jr. will throw at the Scouting Combine.

Bo Nix, Oregon

Like Penix Jr., Bo Nix, out of Oregon, participated at the 2024 Senior Bowl and is coming off a productive season at Oregon. Evaluators seem to be all over the place on how they view Nix, which, to me, says he still has more to prove this draft cycle. And it seems he feels the same way as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Nix will throw at the Scouting Combine.

Spencer Rattler, South Carolina

Spencer Rattler also participated at the 2024 Senior Bowl. And to many who watched on, he was the most impressive QB of the week. Even so, Rattler's draft stock still seems up in the air as he is a polarizing prospect. He will look to build off his strong week at the Senior Bowl by throwing at the Scouting Combine, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.

Drake Maye, North Carolina

Last but not least is Drake Maye out of North Carolina. Maye had an impressive career with the Tarheels and is expected to be one of the first QBs taken in this year's NFL Draft. It would make sense if he follows suit of Williams and Daniels and doesn't throw at the Scouting Combine. But at this time, there has been no announcement on his status for next week.
