The offensive tackle position will always be a premier position in the NFL.

No matter a team's philosophy, if they can't protect their QB's blind spot, they have no shot at success.

So for teams looking to sure up the corners of their protection units, here are the top OTs ahead of the 2025 NFL Combine…

1. Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas

Highest ranking: 1

Lowest ranking: 3

Many are going back and forth between Kelvin Banks Jr. and the next name on our list but what leaves him as #1 in A to Z Sports' rankings is his football intelligence, elite athleticism and excellent technique.

2. Will Campbell, LSU

Highest ranking: 1

Lowest ranking: 3

Will Campbell could very well be the top tackle off the board come April even though he's number two for A to Z Sports. His mix of intangibles, play strength, and size have teams lined up to select him, and that's before you see his high character.

The biggest problem for Campbell and the reason why many have pegged as a better guard…Arm Length.

3. Josh Simmons, Ohio State

Highest ranking: 1

Lowest ranking: 6

Josh Simmons displays the rare ability to play both left and right tackle at a high level and he has the requisite play strength and movement skills to corner an offensive line for years barring medicals.

4. Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota

Highest ranking: 3

Lowest ranking: 7

Aireontae Ersery is a unique prospect thanks to his versatility and ready-made footwork. An elite pass protector, Ersery won't need a lot of time getting up to speed as far as it relates to NFL technique.

5. Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona

Highest ranking: 2

Lowest ranking: 9

Jonah Savaiinaea boasts an impressive mix of size, strength, hand usage and football intelligence. He might not be the most athletic player or have the best footwork, but there is a lot to work with.

6. Emery Jones, LSU

Highest ranking: 3

Lowest ranking: 10

Emery Jones was once up there with his fellow Tiger teammate Will Campbell as one of the top tackles in the class, but a lack of athletic traits overwhelmed his strengths of play strength and hand usage in 2024.

T-7. Cameron Williams, Texas

Highest ranking: 4

Lowest ranking: 9

Cameron Williams definitely needs more seasoning when it comes to his NFL projection, as only 16 career starts cloud his profile. But the raw traits are there and the making of a premier offensive tackle aren't too far behind.

T-7. Josh Conerly Jr., Oregon

Highest ranking: 4

Lowest ranking: 10

Josh Conerly Jr. is a stabilizing force at the tackle position with many catching onto his tape after a great showing against potential first-overall pick Abdul Carter, in the Big-10 title game nonetheless.

9. Wyatt Milum, West Virgina

Highest ranking: 3

Lowest ranking: 8

Wyatt Milum is the kind of player that offensive line coaches love. A versatile athlete with over 500 reps at both left and right tackle, he has a savyness to his game that will take him a long way.

10. Charles Grant, William & Mary

Highest ranking: 7

Lowest ranking: NR

Charles Grant is far from the biggest tackle, and his best bet may be kicking inside at the next level, but he's got the length, competitiveness, and athleticism to play the position for years in the NFL.
