The race for quarterback number three in the 2025 NFL Draft may have just ended following week of Senior Bowl practice in Mobile
The QB class in the 2025 NFL Draft is one of the most polarizing in recent memory. While there are two names (Cam Ward and Sheduer Sanders) atop the list for many, the race for who follows them has been relatively wide open, with the Senior Bowl serving as a determining factor in the contest. […]
But after three days in Mobile, that race may have just ended…
Top QBs at 2025 Senior Bowl
3. Riley Leonard, Notre Dame
The national champion runner-up, Leonard didn't sit out the Senior Bowl like many of his fellow Golden Domers, and it was a smart decision. No QB was great in mobile, but Leonard had a few nice passes and displayed his accuracy and touch on occasion.
What can't be denied about Leonard is his natural-born leadership quality. Teammates tend to gravitate towards him, and he has some of the highest character of any player in the class. He's more than a feel-good story, however, and he could be headed for a late-round selection in April.
2. Dillon Gabriel, Oregon
Gabriel may not be the biggest, but he was more than capable of shining in the spotlight this week. He was far and away the best signal caller on his team, and he had his fair share of big-time throws throughout the week.
There are some things like size and the fact that he's left-handed in terms of what's working against him, but I expect a player with his level of gamer to find his way into the NFL this spring.
1. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
Coming into the week, the thought was that the battle for QB #3 in this year's draft would come down to Jalen Milroe and Jaxson Dart, with Mobile setting a big stage for both.
Evidenced by this list, however, you can see that Milroe didn't have his best stuff, as he mainly struggled for the majority of day one and day two before bouncing back on Thursday.
But Dart was the most consistent and flashiest of all the players in mobile, showing his arm, playmaking ability, and command of an offense that differed from his time at Ole Miss.
He's had his fair share of struggles but has made good throws at all three levels. And I think he has given wide receivers the best chance to make plays during one-on-ones this week. If I were to predict right now who the third QB off the board come April, it would definitely be Dart.
