The 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl is set to kick off on Tuesday, January 28th at 10:30 AM Eastern time, which will see over 100 of the top 2025 NFL Draft prospects testing their talents against one another in Mobile, Alabama. It is often said by executive director Jim Nagy that the “draft starts in Mobile.” While that is a big exaggeration, it is a very exciting time of the year.

Perhaps the deepest position group that will be participating in the event is the on the EDGE. Nagy and his staff have done a tremendous job of putting together a pass rush group that NFL teams would be jealous of. Here are who is expecting to be down competing in Mobile, and the top talents to keep close eyes on.

Pass rushers to watch at the 2025 Senior Bowl

Here are some of the top EDGE defenders to watch in Mobile this week. It’s a deep and talented group, and all eyes should be glued to the pass rush 1-on-1s throughout the week.

Nic Scourton, Texas A&M

A transfer from Purdue, Scourton went back home for his lone season with the Aggies. At around 6-4 and 285 pounds, he is an incredibly powerful rusher with a deep bag of pass rush moves. Scourton did hold some bad weight on his frame in 2024, and it will be interesting to see if he comes in at a lighter weight.

Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M

Scourton’s teammate, there’s actually a realistic chance that Stewart goes even higher. A freak athlete with impressive size, Stewart is going to be about betting on traits. His production is almost nonexistent, but this type of environment should be tremendous for him.

Mike Green, Marshall

Green already checked a huge box when he weighed in at 251 pounds this week. From a pass rushing perspective, there is a ton to like. He is bendy, explosive, and crafty as a pass rusher. The bigger questions are going to be whether Green can hold up well against the run, and he will be challenged this week.

Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss

In terms of pure pass rush prospects, there aren’t many better than Umanmielen. After a very inconsistent career with the Florida Gators, he looked like a different player in his one year with the Rebels.

David Walker, Central Arkansas

These types of settings are usually built for small school players who have a chance to rise a ton during the process. There isn’t a better small school EDGE candidate than Walker in Mobile. While he’s a bit lacking in length, Walker is a slippery rusher with a deep pass rush bag. He should have a huge week.
