The Ohio State Buckeyes won the national championship on the backs of a senior-laden roster, but the future of the history-making class was put in a tough spot because of their deep playoff run. The 2025 Senior Bowl originally had several senior Buckeyes announced with accepted invites to compete.
However, with the National Championship Game taking place just over a week ago, the battered Buckeyes needed a break. While stars from programs all over the country, including Oregon and Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Texas had their stars opt out.
Quarterback Will Howard, left tackle Donovan Jackson, edge-rusher Jack Sawyer, and defensive tackle Ty Hamilton were the announced acceptances. It's possible Emeka Egbuka, TreVeyon Henderson, Lathan Ransom, Cody Simon, and JT Tuimoloau would've considered the event as well.
This could be a legendary draft class for the Buckeyes as they have 16 draftable prospects on our big board. The record for the most selections from one class is on the line, as Georgia's 15-player class from a few years ago is the golden standard.
