The Giants land a franchise-altering defender and elite speed in the latest seven-round 2026 NFL mock draft
The latest seven round 2026 NFL Mock Draft has the Giants taking multiple future starters
The New York Giants have an amazing opportunity ahead of them in the 2026 NFL Draft to transform their roster. The right final pieces could help this team take a major leap next season.
This year’s NFL Draft class may not be as loaded with blue-chip talent, but it does have quality players that fit many of the Giants’ needs. With the fifth overall pick, there are a number of defenders they could pick to boost their unit.
To help paint the picture of what their draft class could look like, I produced a 2026 NFL Mock Draft for the Giants. I then received feedback from A to Z Sports NFL Draft analyst Ryan Roberts. Here were the results.

Round 6, Pick 191: De’Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss

Giants 2026 NFL Mock Draft Analysis
I promise I won’t just do this every single week, but I will push this take whenever I get the chance. If Caleb Downs is on the board, the Giants need to draft him. This defense was fundamentally ineffective against the run because of poor tackling and effort. Downs would boost the run defense and improve their pass coverage as a multi-use weapon that can be aligned anywhere.
In the second round, landing KC Concepcion is a major steal. I’m unsure if he’ll still be on the board, as he has the speed to become a riser throughout this process. Regardless, he can serve as the Giants’ primary kick returner and deep threat in the WR room.
All of the Day 3 picks need to be used to prioritize depth at positions that Joe Schoen has struggled to address. Oregon’s Isaiah World had a disappointing year, but had the upside of being a first-round pick. The Giants can essentially redshirt him, as they did with Marcus Mbow, to develop him into a starter or let him serve as depth.
Domani Jackson is another player who has the tools to be a starting outside cornerback in the NFL, but had an inconsistent year. We witnessed the major issues that came from the Giants’ lack of talent at outside corner. His length and burst offer significant upside.
Lastly, Logan Jones, De’Zhaun Stribling, and Albert Regis round out the remaining position groups that need youth. The Giants don’t necessarily need a center, but competition at the position is worth adding. Stribling was an explosive weapon for Ole Miss this year and could stick on the roster. Regis is a compact, quick-footed defensive tackle who could sneak into the rotation.
Mock Draft Grade
“If you’ve read my thoughts on Caleb Downs in the past, you know I’m not a huge fan of drafting a safety in the top five, especially one that is mostly going to be relegated to the box and mid hole. Does that mean that Downs won’t be a good player? No, but it’s just too rich for my blood.
“Concepcion, however, is a tremendous value play in the second round. He’s the type of after-play threat that should work wonders, combining with Malik Nabers. Add in Stribling on Day Three, and the Giants managed to upgrade their wide receiver room in a big way. Quarterback Jaxson Dart should be happy.
“From there, you get Isaiah World on Day 3, who has developmental upside to work with. While his one year at Oregon was rough, the talent is still there. Domani Jackson is a fun dart throw later in the draft as well.
“While I love the value in certain spots, the overdrafting of Downs and inability to find a starting cornerback or right tackle early does hurt the haul a bit. This is an example of a long-term investment, hopefully being better than the short-term potential.
