You're used to seeing many Kansas City Chiefs faces on the screen on Sunday's during the football season. But get ready to see them on the big screen for a very different reason this Christmas season.

The Chiefs have teamed up with the Hallmark Channel to create a Christmas and football themed film titled, "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story." It  will be shot in Kansas City, Missouri, including scenes at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The movie will feature Chiefs head coach Andy Reid along with guard Trey Smith, wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and defensive end George Karlaftis. Other players to be named at a later date are also expected to make an appearance.

And we can't forget about Chiefs fan and red carpet correspondent Taylen Biggs.

Nobody does a Christmas movie quite like Hallmark, and they announced at the start that the lead stars of the film will be Tyler Hynes, Hunter King and Ed Begley Jr.

As for other actors, Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle, and Christine Ebersole have been added to the roster

“Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle and Christine Ebersole are the perfect acting MVPs to round out the family of Chiefs superfans at the heart of our story,” began Samantha DiPippo, Senior Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Media. “After we announced the movie, fan excitement reached a fever pitch – with Coach Reid, Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman Jr., Clyde Edwards-Helaire and George Karlaftis getting into the game with us, viewers will have even more to cheer about.”

Hallmark released a synopsis for the film.

"Alana Higman (King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest. Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfathers (Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary."

They have also announced that "production went full throttle this month, filming in and around Kansas City, MO locations, including the iconic GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first time the loudest stadium in the world has been used as a filming location in a Hallmark movie."
