You'd have to go back to 2018 to find a Pro Bowl roster without Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker. The 28-year old earned his seventh career Pro Bowl nod this week, and a lot of extra cash to go along with it.
Baker, who recently inked a three-year, $54 million extension with Arizona, has now earned a $500,000 incentive for making yet another Pro Bowl according to CBS Sports' Joel Corry.
Baker's new deal has already paid him over $12 million in the form of a signing bonus, and his 2025 salary of $7 million and $7.7 million of his 2026 salary will be fully guaranteed on March 16 this year. A nice half-million doesn't hurt the wallet, either. He's racked 155 combined tackles and two sacks this season.
With this being Baker's seventh Pro Bowl nod, he becomes just the 14th safety in NFL history with seven Pro Bowls and two All-Pro honors. 12 of them have made the Pro Football Hall of Fame and that number will move to 13 once Earl Thomas gets inducted in a few years.
Tight end Trey McBride joins Baker as the two Pro Bowlers for Arizona this year. McBride is second among tight ends in receptions (104) receiving yards (1,081). McBride and Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers are the only tight ends with at least 100 receptions and 1,000 yards.
