After taking down the Houston Texans last Sunday, Desmond Ridder and the Atlanta Falcons are a hot topic heading into Week 6.
The Falcons, now 3-2, will look to check off another win against the Washington Commanders at home.
Falcons vs. Commanders kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 15, and for those who will be watching from home, there will be a familiar face in the broadcast booth.
Former Falcons MVP quarterback Matt Ryan will be calling the game along with Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber and A.J. Ross.
Ryan spent 14 years with the Falcons before he was traded to the Indianapolis Colts ahead of the 2022 NFL season.
The Falcons had granted Ryan his trade wish, which didn't end well in Indy as he was benched not once, but twice in a single season.
After he was released by the Colts, it didn't take him long to find a gig with CBS Sports.
Ryan makes Week 6's matchup a more exciting one as he should offer some valuable insight into Arthur Smith's coaching tactics and possibly more details on what went down with the trade.
We might even hear about his future NFL plans since he has yet to announce an official retirement.
Falcons use inside track to land WR Van Jefferson in trade
Head coach Arthur Smith and Van Jefferson go way back.
