The Atlanta Falcons will get a major boost in their secondary on Sunday versus the Detroit Lions will cornerback Jeff Okudah is available.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Okudah (foot) would work out during pregame to decide whether or not he's ready to go.

ESPN's Michael Rothstein later reported that Okudah is active and will play against the team that traded him over the offseason.

Detroit drafted Okudah out of Ohio State in 2020 with the No. 3 overall pick, however, injuries limited him to just 25 games over the last three seasons. The Lions decided to send him to Atlanta in exchange for a fifth-round pick in April.

Starting running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who also has yet to see the field this season, is inactive for the third straight week.

Here's the Falcons full list of inactives vs. Detroit:

OL Jovaughn Gwyn
OL Isaiah Prince
DL Albert Huggins
DL Joe Gaziano
RB Cordarrelle Patterson
QB Logan Woodside (3rd QB will dress)
CB Clark Phillips III

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET at Ford Field.
