The Atlanta Falcons have found their next head coach and may have found their offensive coordinator as well.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Falcons have officially hired Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to replace Arthur Smith as head coach.
No Stranger to Atlanta
Morris, 47, is no stranger to Atlanta after having spent five seasons with the Falcons from 2015 to 2020 where he coached both sides of the ball under then-head coach Dan Quinn.
In his final season, he was promoted to defensive coordinator and then took over as Atlanta's interim head coach after Quinn was fired in October of the 2020 season.
The Falcons went 4-7 under Morris.
Before Atlanta, Morris spent two years with the Washington Redskins and was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach for three seasons. He led the Bucs to an overall 17-31 record.
Over the last three years, Morris has been the Rams' defensive coordinator.
In 2023, the Rams' defense ranked 20th in yards allowed, 13th in passing yards, 12th in rushing yards and 18th in scoring defense.
While those numbers may not seem too exciting, Morris is also played a huge part in leading the Rams to a 2022 Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Morris Could Recruit Zac Robinson to Atlanta
Morris coming to Atlanta means he could recruit some of the Rams' coaching staff staff.
Per NFL Network's James Palmer, Rams' quarterback coach Zac Robinson is someone to "keep an eye on" for the Falcons' next offensive coordinator.
Robinson, 37, who is still up and coming, has gotten a lot of looks this offseason as a potential offensive coordinator candidate for a handful of teams.
The former NFL quarterback kicked off his coaching career in 2019 with the Rams where he has spent the last four seasons serving as a quarterbacks coach, wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator throughout the years.
Robinson is credited with helping Matt Stafford finish his first season in LA ranked as a top-five quarterback in the league in several categories including passing yards, passing touchdowns, passing first downs and yards per attempt.
He also is responsible for helping guide Rams' top wide receiver, Cooper Kupp.
If Robinson joins Morris in Atlanta, he will have plenty of talent to work with, though he will need to help them find a future franchise quarterback.

Looks like nobody wants him.
