When it comes to the NFL Draft, you win some and you lose some and the Atlanta Falcons are definitely winning with their 2023 No. 8 overall pick, Bijan Robinson.

The rookie got off to a hot start in Week 1, logging 10 carries for 56 yards on the ground and six catches for 27 yards and a touchdown through the air in the Falcons' win over the Carolina Panthers.

And as if things couldn't get any better, they did in Week 2 when he ran all over the Green Bay Packers defense for more than 100 yards on just 23 carries.

Our friends over at Sports Illustrated will have their eyes on Robinson all season long to see if the Falcons are making out alright with their first-round pick.

For now, Robinson is living up to all of the pre-draft hype and his draft stock is on the rise heading into Week 3:

"Tough to have a much better day than Robinson, who saw his usage increase against the Packers.

"Robinson exploded for 124 rushing yards on 19 carries, along with four catches and 48 receiving yards on five targets in the 25–24 victory. The Falcons were expecting great things from their first-round pick out of Texas, and Robinson has delivered.

"Through two games, Robinson is on pace for 2,167 total yards from scrimmage," – Matt Verderame, Sports Illustrated

The Falcons' run-heavy offense and Robinson's Clydesdale-like skills have been a match made in heaven so far. If both parties can continue to keep it up, then there's no reason that Robinson won't end the season on the ballot for the NFL's 2023 Offensive Player of the Year award.
