The Atlanta Falcons announced two roster moves on Tuesday.

First, the team sent tight end Parker Hesse to injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. And then in a corresponding move, the team signed fan-favorite wide receiver Frank Darby back to the practice squad.

Hesse joined the Falcons practice squad in 2021 after spending his first two seasons in the league with the Tennessee Titans. His connection to Arthur Smith's time there helped find him a new home in Atlanta. He was elevated for one game this season, which was in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers this season.

As for Darby, the Falcons drafted him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL draft. Following his rookie year, Darby has struggled to find a permanent spot on the Falcons' active roster.

In two seasons for the Falcons, Darby has played in 15 games, catching two passes for 29 yards.

Despite his overall lack of production when it comes to the stat sheet, Darby has been a bright light in the locker room for his teammates and has become a fan favorite due to the positive energy he brings on gamedays.
