The Atlanta Falcons are 2-0 for the first time since 2017, which has caused some skeptical fans to finally hop on the Desmond Ridder train.

However, Miami Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill bought into the Ridder narrative a while back.

Hill shared the exact moment that he officially became a Ridder fan during a recent episode of his podcast with Jullian Collins, "It Needed to be Said"

"Im telling you, Danny Dimes [Jones] and Desmond Ridder  for the Falcons–I'm telling you, two dogs. I'm a Desmond Ridder fan, I'm sorry," Hill said.

Collins interrupted, "You jumped on the Ridder bandwagon that quick?"

"I've been a Ridder fan," Hill began to explain. "I've been on his bandwagon. Ever since they came down here to Miami. Our defense did pretty good against them and I had a chance to sit and watch him as he slang the ball–I was like 'this dude's got some potential.' I was like 'this dude here is nice.' You feel me? So, once you add that all into the game, you feel me, it just takes it up another level. This dude is confident. He's swaggy."

The Falcons went down to Miami for joint practices before playing them in their first preseason game this past August.

"He came up to me he was like, 'Reek, you trying to race?' and that's what made me a fan right there," Hill said. "Because some dudes, they see me and they won't even talk. They want to say something but they are kinda intimidated. But he came and he's like, ' Reek you trying to race my boy?' and I'm like, 'You already know it, baby.'"

Ridder currently leads the Falcons with 352 passing yards (averaging 176.0 yards per game) and a 68% completion percentage (34-for-50). He has logged two touchdowns and a single interception interception. He's also added 38 yards and another touchdown on the ground.

"They're gonna be really good this year," Hill said."Getting those early wins–those key wins build confidence down the road. So, shout out to them Falcons boys."

The Falcons are 3-point underdogs heading into their Week 3 matchup on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
