The Atlanta Falcons (3-3) take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) at Raymond James Stadium in Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season.

The Falcons enter the matchup fresh off a brutal 24-16 loss to the Washington Commanders where quarterback Desmond Ridder threw three costly interceptions. 

As for the Bucs, they'll also be looking to rebound after falling 20-6 to the Detroit Lions last Sunday.

Kickoff for Falcons vs. Buccaneers is at 1:00 p.m. ET with Chris Myers and Mark Schlereth calling the game on FOX.

The winner of this NFC South divisional matchup will take first place in the NFC South. But here's the kicker: Atlanta hasn't won a road match since Week 3 of the 2022 season and they haven't been able to pull off a divisional road game since 2021. 

The reality is that both teams are not that good on offense, so it won't be impossible for the Falcons to finally break their dry spell, but it also won't be too easy for them. Atlanta is averaging 16 points per game and the Bucs are right up there with them averaging a whopping 18 points per game. 

If the Falcons' defense can create turnovers and find more ways to rack up some sacks and really take advantage of a weak offense, they'll win this one. If not, then it's going to be a long second half of the season.
