Lamar Jackson had quite the field day both in the air and on the ground in the Baltimore Ravens' statement road win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.

Jackson not only completed several big-yard passing plays, but he also added another dimension to Baltimore’s offense with his legs. The two-time Pro Bowler rushed the football 12 times — double the amount from Week 1 — for 54 yards on Sunday.

Jackson did not have an astounding outing on the ground unlike in previous encounters against the Bengals, but cornerback Chidobe Awuzie still tips his hat to the Ravens passer for picking up timely rushing yards.

"He’s the MVP of their team for a reason," Awuzie said after the game. "(He’s) one of the best players in our league and all the props to him.

"Obviously, we wish we would have tackled a little bit better but guys like that, you kind of have to know they’re going to extend plays and it’s going to take all 11 (of us), so we have to do a better job of getting to the ball when he does break loose."

Overall, Baltimore notched a 4.8 yards per rush average against the Bengals, and Gus Edwards led the way with 62 rushing yards.

The Ravens will return to M&T Bank Stadium in Week 3 for a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
