Day 1 of the NFL Draft is complete and Clemson CB Nate Wiggins is set to be the newest member of the Baltimore Ravens.
Now, attention will turn to Day 2 where the Baltimore Ravens will have a chance to add some more talent. On Friday, the Ravens are scheduled to have pick No. 62 in the second round and pick No. 93 in the third round.
Below are the best available players remaining at each position, outside of quarterback where the Ravens are set at starter and backup.
Running back

- FSU RB Trey Benson
- Texas RB Jonathon Brooks
- USC RB MarShawn Lloyd
- Wisconsin RB Braelon Allen
- Clemson RB Will Shipley
- Michigan RB Blake Corum
- Tennessee RB Jaylen Wright
- Notre Dame RB Audric Estime
- Kentucky RB Ray Davis
While the Ravens may not want to bring in a rookie back for a second year in a row, there are some good options to be had on Day 2. If the board tells them to take one, then that’s what they’ll do. Said player would slide in behind Derrick Henry and second-year back Keaton Mitchell
Wide receiver
- Georgia WR Ladd McConkey
- Texas WR Adonai Mitchell
- Oregon WR Troy Franklin
- Western Kentucky WR Malachi Corley
- UCF WR Javon Baker
- Virginia WR Malik Washington
- Michigan WR Roman Wilson
- Washington WR Jalen McMillan
- North Carolina WR Devontez Walker
- USC WR Brenden Rice
- Rice WR Luke McCaffrey
Baltimore hit on Zay Flowers in the first round last year but they need to continue to build the room out for Lamar Jackson. The team doesn’t have a WR2 currently with Odell Beckham Jr. a free agent. Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor aren’t that for Baltimore unfortunately.
Tight end
- Ohio State TE Cade Stover
- Kansas State TE Ben Sinnott
- TCU TE Jared Wiley
- Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders
- Penn State TE Theo Johnson
- Iowa TE Erick All
Baltimore is Mickey set at tight end with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. If they want to add a third right end to replace Charlie Kolar, that could be an option.
Offensive tackle

- Houston OT Patrick Paul
- BYU OT Kingsley Suamataia
- TCU OT Brandon Coleman
- Yale OT Kiran Amegadjie
- Notre Dame OT Blake Fisher
- Penn State OT Caeden Wallace
- Washington OT Roger Rosengarten
Baltimore needs a right twcjle since tjet traded away Morgan Moses. That was an option in the first round but it doesn’t appear the board fell that way. While a drop off exists for the tackle class, there is still talent to be had there.
Interior offensive line
- West Virginia OL Zach Frazier
- Oregon C Jackson Powers-Johnson
- UConn OL Christian Haynes
- Kansas State OL Cooper Beebe
- Kansas OL Dominic Puni
Baltimore is replacing both guards in 2024, so any depth they can add on the interior is only going to help their cause. The Ravens seem to be a lock for an offensive lineman on Day 2.
Defensive end
- Western Michigan DE Marshawn Kneeland
- Washington DE Bralen Trice
- Penn State DE Adissa Isaac
- UCLA DE Gabriel Murphy
- Utah DE Jonah Eliss
- CSU DE Mohamed Kamara
Jadeveon Clowney left in free agency and there wasn’t a replacement brought in for him. While drafting edge players hasn’t fully worked out for Baltimore lately on the field, they could change that on Day 2.
Defensive tackle

- Illinois DT Johnny Newton
- Ohio State DT Michael Hall Jr.
- Michigan DT Kris Jenkins
- FSU DT Braden Fiske
- LSU DT Maason Smith
- Oregon DT Brandon Dorlus
- Clemson DT Ruke Orhorhoro
There is a star in the middle for Baltimore with Justin Madubuike, who received a nice payday this offseason. The Ravens are set at nose tackle, though they could use more pass rushing from the interior.
Linebacker
- NC State LB Payton Wilson
- Texas A&M LB Edgerrin Cooper
- Michigan LB Junior Colson
- Clemson LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
- UNC LB Cedric Gray
Baltimore is replacing Patrick Queen with Trenton Simpson and their depth is pretty thin behind Simpson and Roquan Smith. Baltimore could be in store for a new linebacker.
Cornerback
- Iowa CB Cooper DeJean
- Georgia CB Kamari Lassiter
- Iowa State CB T.J. Tampa
- Rutgers CB Max Melton
- Michigan CB Mike Sainristil
- Mizzou CB Kris Abrams-Draine
- Kentucky CB Andru Phillips
- FSU CB Renardo Green
- Notre Dame CB Cam Hart
While they did take Wiggins in the first rounds, it would not be a surprise to see the Ravens double-dip and add some more depth.
Safety

- Minnesota S Tyler Nubin
- Georgia S Javon Bullard
- Texas Tech S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
- Utah S Cole Bishop
- Washington State S Jaden Hicks
- Georgia S Tykee Smith
The last time the Ravens picked a safety high it worked out well. Kyle Hamilton is an All-Pro now, but the depth is non-existent behind him and Marcus Williams since Geno Stone signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in free agency.
Ravens will have several chances to add one of Ed Reed’s relatives in the 2024 NFL Draft
Two players in this year’s draft class have close ties to the Baltimore legend.
