Zay Flowers was the talk of the town during the Baltimore Ravens’ training camp schedule. Flowers regularly put together highlight-reel plays, and he showed that he can be a reliable threat in the red zone, as was on display during his final season at Boston College.

Even as he has not yet played in an official NFL game, Flowers has already won over numerous former players, including LeSean McCoy. During a recent airing of FOX Sports 1’s “SPEAK” program, the former two-time All-Pro selection touched on why he is “excited” about the Ravens’ new-look offense, with one of the reasons being Flowers’ sheer potential.

"You get a guy, a speedster like Zay Flowers, who by the way I've had my Shady resources, and they told that the sources is like, 'Yo this kid is the real deal, he's flying past everybody, nobody can guard him,'" McCoy said.

At the end of the day, success for Baltimore’s offense this season will hinge on just which version of Lamar Jackson it will get. For McCoy, he hopes to see the Ravens simply let Jackson be Jackson.

"So I'm super excited about this new offense," McCoy said. "I just hope they let Lamar Jackson be Lamar Jackson. Let it loose."

With a revamped offensive system in place coupled with the array of new additions on this side of the ball, there sure is growing anticipation for the Ravens’ Week 1 opener against the Houston Texans.
