After watching the Ravens clinch a 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, former NFL wide receiver Michael Irvin believes that Baltimore is still the current best team in the AFC.

"I still have Baltimore right now a little bit ahead of Kansas City because I know they're naturally a physical football team, and that will come into play when these two get together," Irvin said on FOX Sports 1's "Undisputed" program.

The Ravens did not put together a flawless performance against the Chargers, but at the end of the day, they notched their fifth road win of the season. Baltimore rushed for 197 yards in the contest, and its defense held the Justin Herbert-led Chargers offense to a 4.2 yards per play average.

In the big picture, the three-time Super Bowl champion sees that the Ravens have what it takes to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs because of three key reasons.

"I think they can dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs because they got a run game, they got a defense, and Lamar Jackson, I love the way he's staying in the pocket," Irvin said.

The Ravens currently hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but they could move down to the No. 4 seed after Week 13. Baltimore has its bye week coming up, while the Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Miami Dolphins will all play this week. If the Chiefs, Jaguars, and Dolphins all pick up a win in Week 13, then Baltimore would drop three spots in the AFC playoff picture, and Kansas City would sit atop the conference standings over the other three division leaders due to the best win percentage in conference games tiebreaker.

The Ravens will return to action in Week 14 with a crucial home matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
