Geno Stone once again faces uncertainty regarding his future with the Baltimore Ravens.

Stone hit free agency last March, but it did not take him long to reach a resolution on his future in Baltimore. Stone and the Ravens wound up coming to terms on a one-year, $1.76 million deal during the first week of last year’s free agency period.

Stone, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent next month, was asked during a recent appearance on the NFL Network’s "NFL Total Access" program on where he "ultimately wants to be." The fourth-year safety was as honest as could be with his response.

"At the end of the day, Baltimore is always home, but business is business," Stone said. "… I’ve been through it all, especially my rookie year. I just want to be somewhere where I’m appreciated and who wants me, for me to be a starter, whoever it may be.

"I just want my value to be there."

Stone proved in the 2023 season that he is deserving of becoming a go-to starter in the NFL. The all-around safety not only recorded a career-high seven interceptions, but he also allowed a mere 63.8 passer rating in coverage.

Stone may very well be in line for a big payday next month. Spotrac projects a three-year, $21.630 million deal for him in free agency.
