Saquon Barkley enters a second straight offseason with uncertainty regarding his future with the New York Giants.

Barkley did not become an unrestricted free agent last year. The Giants placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Barkley in March. Barkley ended up signing an adjusted franchise tag in July after months of failed talks with the team regarding a possible multiyear extension deal.

Barkley is set to hit free agency in March, and at the moment, the odds favor the all-around running back staying put with the Giants.

Saquon Barkley next team odds

The Giants boast the best odds (-150) to sign Barkley to a contract in the offseason, according to DraftKings.

The Houston Texans (+275) hold the second-best odds to bring in Barkley, and the Los Angeles Chargers sit right behind them at +400.

The Baltimore Ravens are tied with the Minnesota Vikings (+2200) for the sixth-best odds to land Barkley. Out of the seven running backs who played in at least one offensive snap for Baltimore this past season, five of them will be out of a contract next month, including J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards.

Barkley has made clear that he is open to remaining on with the Giants, so the ball sure is in team general manager Joe Schoen’s court on this matter. If the NFC East side wishes to bid farewell to the four-time Pro Bowler, then teams such as the Chargers and the Ravens could very well put some thought into signing him to a blockbuster deal.
