The Baltimore Ravens are set to have their second home matchup of the season in Week 3, as they will meet the Indianapolis Colts at M&T Bank Stadium.

The main storyline for the Ravens heading into Week 3 has centered on their early season injury woes. They listed a total of nine players on their injury report for the game, and seven of them have been ruled out, including Odell Beckham Jr. The veteran wideout came away from Baltimore's road win over the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle ailment, which forced him to sit out each of the team’s three practice sessions ahead of Week 3.

As with the Ravens, the Colts are also dealing with their fair share of injury concerns. For one, Anthony Richardson has been ruled out for Week 3. He suffered a concussion in Indianapolis' home win over the Houston Texans. Gardner Minshew will be under center for the AFC South side on Sunday.

Will Gus Edwards be able to balance out the Ravens offense?

The Ravens will be without Justice Hill against Indianapolis. He is nursing a foot ailment, which saw him miss all three of the team’s recent practice sessions. Thus, it will be up to Gus Edwards to lead the way on the ground for Baltimore on Sunday.

Edwards is coming off of a productive outing in the Ravens’ divisional victory against the Bengals. He made the most out of his rush attempts in the contest, tallying 62 rushing yards on a 6.2 yards per rush attempt average. Baltimore sure could use an encore performance from the versatile running back.

Can Geno Stone once again help to replace Marcus Williams?

Geno Stone put together one of the more potent performances by any safety this season in Baltimore’s win over the Bengals. From the crucial interception in the second half to the mere 42.1 passer rating allowed when targeted mark, Stone was all over the place in the contest.

Marcus Williams will miss a second consecutive game due to his nagging pec injury, so Stone is on par to earn a start out in the secondary in Week 3.

2 Ravens players to watch in Week 3

Nelson Agholor

Ravens wide receiver Nelson Agholor emerged as a go-to target for Lamar Jackson last week, hauling in five receptions for 63 receiving yards and one touchdown catch. With Beckham ruled out for Week 3, Agholor could see an increase in targets on Sunday.

Patrick Mekari

Ravens offensive lineman Patrick Mekari is set to start out at the left tackle position against the Colts. Ronnie Stanley has been listed as out for Week 3 due to an ankle injury, so Mekari is slated to fill in for Stanley for the second straight matchup.

Mekari has not allowed a single sack in 87 snaps played on offense this season. Baltimore sure hopes to see him help keep Jackson’s jersey clean in Week 3.
