Following a promising performance against the Tennessee Titans, the Baltimore Ravens will look to string together a winning streak when they meet the Detroit Lions in Week 7.

Baltimore did not have its best showing on offense against Tennessee. The AFC North side reached the red zone a total of six times in the contest, and it came away with a mere one touchdown. At the least, Lamar Jackson anchored seven scoring drives to lead Baltimore to a 24-16 win.

The Lions enter Week 7 being deemed by many as the clear-cut top team in the NFC. They are just coming off of a potent road win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

One storyline to watch for Baltimore

Can the Ravens continue to turn around their fumble woes?

The Ravens had just the second fumble-free game of their season in the road win over the Titans. Even as Baltimore logged 39 rush attempts in the contest, it managed to not add to its fumble tally on the season.

Overall, the Ravens have tallied six fumbles lost this season, which ranks fourth in the NFL. If the current AFC North leaders aim to pull off a statement win against Detroit, they sure must be a bit more assertive in simply taking care of the football.

2 Ravens players to watch in Week 7

Gus Edwards

With J.K. Dobbins ruled out for the season due to his torn Achilles injury, the Ravens have called on Gus Edwards to lead the way on the ground.

Edwards has not necessarily added another dimension to Baltimore’s run game this season. He has notched a career-low 3.9 yards per rush attempt average through six games played in the ongoing campaign. He is coming off of a roller-coaster outing in Baltimore’s victory over Tennessee where he recorded 41 rushing yards on a lowly 2.6 rushing yards per attempt average.

The Ravens sure could use a stout showing from Edwards against Detroit.

Rashod Bateman

Rashod Bateman is another Ravens player on offense who is in need of a standout performance. The third-year wideout is averaging a career-low 16.4 receiving yards per game this year.

With Detroit's defense slated to focus much of its attention on the likes of Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers in Week 7, Bateman could have an opportunity to put together a much-needed breakout game.
