The Baltimore Ravens will have an opportunity to string together a three-game winning streak for the first time this season when they meet the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8.
The Ravens put together one of the more efficient offensive showings by any team this season in Week 7. From the 9.1 yards per play average to the five touchdowns scored in the red zone, Baltimore orchestrated quite a clinic in its win over the Detroit Lions.
The Cardinals are not enjoying as much recent success as the Ravens have had. Arizona has dropped its last four contests, including a 20-10 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7.

One storyline to watch for Baltimore
Can the Ravens' run game once again lead the offense?
There was a sense of panic when J.K. Dobbins tore his Achilles during the Ravens' regular season opener against the Houston Texans. However, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill have not only helped to replace Dobbins this season, but the two have also formed a dynamic one-two punch on the ground.
Edwards and Hill each have notched a yards per rush attempt average of at least 4.0 in the season. The two running backs are just coming off of a formidable performance in Baltimore’s home victory over Detroit in which they combined for 110 rushing yards.
Lamar Jackson has also added another dimension to Baltimore’s rushing attack thanks to his stout 5.3 yards per rush attempt average. Regardless of whether it has been on designed rush plays or on scramble runs out of the pocket, Jackson sure has helped to make Baltimore’s offense an unpredictable one to face.
2 Ravens players to watch in Week 8
Odell Beckham Jr.
Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. logged season highs across the board against the Lions. Beckham tallied five receptions for 49 receiving yards in the contest, as Detroit’s secondary had a difficult time slowing him down.
Beckham is still without a receiving touchdown this season. Baltimore’s road clash with Arizona may be just the time for him to haul in a receiving score for the first time since Super Bowl 56.
Patrick Queen
Baltimore’s rush defense is set to be put to the test against a Cardinals team that ranks sixth in rushing yards per game with a 139.0 average. It will be up to Patrick Queen and Baltimore’s front seven to make sure that the Cardinals do not have their way on the ground in Week 8.
Ravens guard can accomplish rare feat with Week 8 win over Cardinals
Would be quite an accomplishment.
