Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Justin Madubuike has taken his game to another level this season.
Madubuike, who has garnered the second-most Pro Bowl votes among defensive tackles, leads the Ravens in multiple stats, from sacks (12.0) to tackles for loss (11). His 30 quarterback hits rank just behind San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Nick Bosa (33) for the league lead this year.
Madubuike has also entered his name in the conversation to be the NFL’s most dynamic defensive tackle. Not only does he lead all defensive tackles in sacks, but his 56 total pressures trail only Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald (61) for the most among such players, as noted by NFL Next Gen Stats.
Madubuike’s standout play continues to leave Ravens head coach John Harbaugh in awe.
"He's just playing really well," Harbaugh said during a press conference on Wednesday. "That's probably the main thing. He's playing at a high level."
There sure are not many versatile defensive linemen like Madubuike in the NFL today.
