The Baltimore Ravens are the heavy favorites heading into their upcoming home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Ravens are listed as an 8-point favorite for their Week 3 game.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has had his way when entering a home contest as a favorite by eight points or more. As noted by ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, the Ravens with Jackson as their starting quarterback boast an astounding 12-0 record in such matchups.
The last time that the Ravens were favored by eight points or more at home came in their regular season opener against the Houston Texans earlier this month. Baltimore entered the game as a -9.5 favorite, and it ended up coming away with a 16-point win to open up its campaign.
Jackson boasts a 2-0 career record against the Colts. He combined for four touchdown passes and a passer rating of 125.5 in the two meetings. Overall, the two-time Pro Bowler has tallied 14 passing touchdowns in nine regular season games played against AFC South opponents.
Baltimore will look to move to a 3-0 record on the season for the first time since the 2016 campaign.
