Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made his return to practice on Friday.
Jackson did not take part in Baltimore’s second practice session of the week on Thursday due to an illness. It was the first time all season that the sixth-year passer missed practice.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said during a press conference on Friday that Jackson has "recovered" from his illness.
"He was feeling good, full of life," Harbaugh said. "He looked good out there, and he was back, and he’s recovered."
Barring a major surprise, Jackson should go on to anchor Baltimore’s offense in the upcoming home matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Jackson has not missed a single game this season, and he has also not been issued a game status designation for any contest.
Rashod Bateman is also slated to play in Week 14. The third-year wideout was sidelined from practice on Wednesday due to an illness, but he ended up featuring in the Ravens’ final two practices ahead of their game against the Rams.
The Ravens sit in first place in the AFC North with a 9-3 record, and with a win against the Rams, they would then open up a 3.0-game lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the division standings.
Incredible Lamar Jackson stat doesn’t bode well for Rams in Week 14
Impressive feat.
