Dalvin Cook made his long-awaited first appearance with the Baltimore Ravens in their AFC divisional round win over the Houston Texans. The Ravens signed Cook to their 53-man roster ahead of the contest.

Cook tallied 23 rushing yards on a 2.9 yards per rush attempt average against the Texans. Overall, 19 out of his 23 rushing yards on the day came on a crucial 19-yard run in the fourth quarter. The drive culminated in Lamar Jackson scoring his second rushing touchdown of the game.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was much pleased with Cook’s outing on the day.

"I thought he looked really good out there – Dalvin did," Harbaugh said during a press conference on Monday. "He ran hard, showed his skillset off, and got us those yards at the end of the game."

On Cook’s part, he is aiming to continue to help the Ravens wherever needed.

"It felt great to help the team in any way," Cook said after the Ravens’ win over the Texans. "Like I've said all week, I don't care what my role is. If I get a chance to help this team, I'll do it any way I can. That's my motto."

The Ravens will next meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game. Cook has recorded 87 rushing yards in two career games played against the Chiefs.
