Lamar Jackson’s 17-yard touchdown pass to Nelson Agholor on Sunday proved to be the difference-maker in the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson gave Agholor a chance to make a crucial play in the red zone, and the veteran wideout delivered for his first touchdown catch with the Ravens.

For Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, he was far from surprised to see Agholor haul in the touchdown reception, as he has seen him work on this route with Jackson in practice.

"He's been practicing that, he was hitting it in practice," Harbaugh said in his post-game press conference. "Those guys run great routes. Lamar put that thing right where it had to be, and 'Nelly' [Nelson Agholor] made a great catch.

"It's not the end of that. It's a big part of what we need to do — and they get up and get in your face and press you, we have to make them pay for it, and Lamar and Nelson did that."

Agholor emerged as Jackson’s go-to target in Week 2. He hauled in five receptions for a team-high 63 receiving yards against the Bengals, which came on the heels of a quiet Ravens debut in Week 1 where he failed to log a reception.

Agholor was pleased to have played an instrumental role in the Ravens’ first road game of the season, especially on his touchdown catch.

"I'm grateful," Agholor said after the game. "[It was] a great play, and we practiced that. We've hit it in practice, and it comes to life."

The Ravens will look to move to a 3-0 record on the season when they meet the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.
