Odell Beckham Jr. came away from the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 2 road win over the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury.
Beckham appeared to have suffered the ankle ailment on a 15-yard catch in the first quarter. He did not immediately leave the game, but he was later looked at by a team doctor on the sideline. While the veteran wideout was cleared to return to the game, the call was ultimately made during the third quarter to rule him out for the rest of the divisional contest.
Odafe Oweh also sustained an injury in Week 2, and at the moment, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh does not believe that both the linebacker and Beckham suffered a serious ailment on Sunday.
"Don’t think it’s serious injuries for either person, we’ll learn more tomorrow," Harbaugh said during a post-game press conference. "I don’t believe either one of those are going to be serious as it looks right now."
Beckham finished with three receptions for 29 receiving yards against the Bengals, which came a week following his 37-yard outing in his Ravens debut.
The Ravens ended up moving to a 2-0 record on the season following their victory over Cincinnati. They will now look ahead to a home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.
