The Baltimore Ravens have been playing their best football as of late, and Julian Edelman believes that they are well capable of pulling off a run to the Super Bowl.

"The Baltimore Ravens are going to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl with the way they're playing right now," Edelman said on FOX's "FOX NFL Kickoff" program. "You look at their defense, top five in points allowed, yards per game. Top 10 on third down, and three in the red area. … And that's not even talking about the offense and Lamar Jackson and how he's playing."

The Ravens have been climbing the standings in the AFC. They hold both first place in the AFC North standings and the No. 2 seed in the conference.

Baltimore moved to an 8-3 record on the season following its home win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. One of the main storylines from the game centered on the reported cracked fibula and ankle ligament injury that Ravens tight end Mark Andrews suffered in the first quarter.

Andrews’ likely season-ending injury is what concerns the former New England Patriots wide receiver the most about the Ravens.

"The one thing that makes me a little scared is the Mark Andrews injury," Edelman said. "He's the safety blanket for Lamar, he's a comfort factor for him. He brings toughness to that offense."

If the Ravens end up ruling out Andrews for the remainder of the year, then they are expected to call on Isaiah Likely to be their starting tight end amid the three-time Pro Bowler’s absence. Likely has recorded nine receptions in 11 games played this season.

The Ravens will next be in action in Week 12 with a road matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
