Keaton Mitchell’s breakout performance against the Seattle Seahawks came as no surprise to many Baltimore Ravens players, including Lamar Jackson.

Jackson has had a front-row seat to watch Mitchell in practice, and there is much to him that stands out about the rookie running back.

"He’s very elusive," Jackson told CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson after the game.

"I wouldn’t say shifty like Zay, but he makes some sharp cuts, and he’s very fast."

Mitchell showed off his top-notch speed throughout the Ravens’ home win over the Seahawks in Week 9. The former East Carolina standout made the most out of his mere nine rush attempts in the contest, as he tallied a career-high 138 rushing yards.

60 out of Mitchell's total rushing yards on the day came on a second down run in the early stages of the fourth quarter that sure caught Seattle’s front seven off guard.

Overall, the Ravens recorded a season-high 298 rushing yards against the Seahawks, and they also scored a trio of touchdowns on the ground.

Baltimore now leads the NFL in rushing yards per game with a 160.3 average and is tied with the Miami Dolphins for the league-lead in rushing scores with 17.

The Ravens will next square off with a Cleveland Browns defense in Week 10 that boasts an 89.8 rushing yards allowed per game average this season.
