Mark Andrews practiced for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. Andrews, who was designated to return from the injured reserve list on Friday, was listed as a full participant on the day.
The Ravens still have not made a final call on whether they will activate Andrews off the injured reserve list for the AFC divisional round. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on Tuesday that when it comes to the possibility of Andrews playing against the Houston Texans, "We'll just have to see how it goes."
On Andrews’ part, he remains unsure whether he will take the field in the AFC divisional round.
"It’s how I feel at the end of the day," Andrews said on Wednesday. "Just knowing how good this team is, how good our players are, how good our tight ends are, if I feel like I’m going to be helpful to the team, I’m going to go. If I feel like I’m close but not there, let these guys go and hopefully get [there] next weekend."
If the Ravens opt not to roll out Andrews against the Texans, then they will call on Isaiah Likely to start out at the tight end position in the contest. The three-time Pro Bowler has been pleased to see Likely blossom as of late.
"You see it game by game," Andrews said. "Getting better and better and making big-time plays. That’s a credit to how hard he’s worked. It's been awesome to see him do that. We’re thankful to have him."
Likely recorded 21 receptions for 322 receiving yards and five touchdown catches over the Ravens’ final six regular season contests.
