Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta will have multiple crucial decisions to make in the offseason. Among them, DeCosta will have to decide on which soon-to-be free agents he will go all out to re-sign.

According to Spotrac, a total of 22 Ravens players are set to become unrestricted free agents in the offseason, including Justin Madubuike and Patrick Queen. The two will see their rookie contracts run out in March.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer believes that the Ravens will look to try to re-sign both Madubuike and Queen, which would then impact the team’s plans for the 2024 NFL Draft.

"My guess would be they prioritize signing Justin Madubuike, and at least take a swing with Patrick Queen (though that might not be as realistic with Roquan Smith already paid), and from there let a lot of players go," Breer wrote in a weekly mailbag column. "Some are on the offensive line.

"So depending on what happens with the aforementioned two stars, I’d guess that the Ravens prioritize the offensive line and the front seven on defense early in the draft."

DeCosta did not bring in a single defensive lineman during the 2023 NFL Draft. He did select a pair of offensive linemen in Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu and Andrew Vorhees, but the two did not play in a single snap on offense this season.

DeCosta could go on to once again haul in multiple offensive lineman at this year’s NFL Draft, especially as guards John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler will hit free agency in March.

A pivotal offseason sure awaits DeCosta this year.
