The Baltimore Ravens had a few results go their way on their bye week.

Among them, the Green Bay Packers clinched a dramatic 27-19 home win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Due to their loss on the day coupled with the Miami Dolphins' victory over the Washington Commanders, the Chiefs now sit in the No. 4 spot with an 8-4 record.

The Dolphins and Ravens each hold a 9-3 record, but Mike McDaniel's squad is currently in possession of the No. 1 seed in the AFC over Baltimore due to the best win percentage in conference games tiebreaker. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who boast an 8-3 record, are also right in the mix for the top spot in the AFC, and a win for them against the Cincinnati Bengals on "Monday Night Football" would move them above Miami in the standings.

In the big picture, the Ravens are now in control of their own destiny in the AFC.

If the Ravens win their remaining five regular season games this year, they would then clinch the top seed in the AFC for the first time since the 2019 campaign. Baltimore would not have to concern itself with potential tiebreakers in such a scenario because it would at the least finish a game over the Chiefs, Dolphins, and Jaguars. The current AFC North leaders can take care of business against Jacksonville and Miami with wins against them in Week 15 and Week 17, respectively.

The Ravens will return to action in Week 14 with a pivotal home matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
