The Baltimore Ravens may end up seeing quite a bit of turnaround within their offensive line in the coming months.

Ravens guards John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler will hit free agency in March. Simpson led all Ravens players in snaps played on offense (1,119) in the 2023 season. Zeitler, on the other hand, ranked third on the team in such snaps played (983).

During a press conference at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh shied away from touching on the futures of both Zeitler and Simpson, but he did make clear that change is coming to Baltimore's offensive line.

"The Draft can help a lot, certainly with the offensive line," Harbaugh said. "I just started watching [the tape, and] so far so good. Eric [DeCosta] tells me it’s a good O-line draft. That's one thing, but the offensive line is where it starts. … We’ve got some question marks on our offensive line.

"There is going to be some rebuilding that is going to have to be done in there, and we're getting to it already. It’s going to be probably the most important thing we do on offense."

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta has his sights set on soon bolstering his team’s offensive line.

"It's always going to be a priority; that's Coach Harbaugh from 2008 on," DeCosta said during a press conference at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. “We have to have a big, strong, imposing offensive line. So, we’ll continue to build that out. Obviously, this year, we’re going to have, probably, some change on the offensive line in different ways. It remains to be seen exactly what that looks like, [but] we will have a plan.

"Fortunately, this is a deep draft class, as well, so we’ll have a lot of different options in different rounds, players that we like at the offensive line position — at tackle and also guard. Probably unlikely that we’re going to draft a center very high. But I think there is a lot of depth along the way, specifically at the tackle position and the guard position, so that’s exciting."

From this year’s free agency period to the 2024 NFL Draft, Baltimore sure will have plenty of options to help revamp its offensive line.
