The Baltimore Ravens have officially joined in on the fun ahead of the trade deadline.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Ravens are trading for Carolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson.

Along with getting Johnson, the Ravens are getting a 6th round pick, while the Panthers are getting a 5th.

It hardly cost Baltimore anything, and now they get a player that could certainly help in a potential Super Bowl run. Plus, Carolina is still covering a portion of Johnson's contract.

Johnson is back in the AFC North, but this time on a different team. He began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, being selected in the third round of 2019 NFL Draft.

In his rookie season, he was named a Second-Team All Pro, finishing the year with 59 receptions for 680 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.

In 2022, Johnson signed a two-year contract extension with the Steelers. In 2024, Pittsburgh traded him to the Panthers for cornerback Donte Jackson, and the 178th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

But that didn't last long. And now he'll get the opportunity to face off against his former team… TWICE!

So far this season, Johnson has 30 receptions on 58 targets for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

Plus, he's now going from a team with a 1-7 record to team with a 5-3 record.

Multiple teams were rumored to be interested in trading for Johnson, but it was the Ravens that ultimately got him.
