The Baltimore Ravens are closing in on filling out head coach John Harbaugh’s coaching staff for the 2024 season.

The Ravens announced on Monday four coaching additions, including Mark DeLeone. DeLeone agreed to fill Baltimore’s inside linebackers coach job, which was previously held by Zach Orr. Orr replaced Mike Macdonald as the team’s new defensive coordinator earlier this month.

DeLeone has a combined 17 years of coaching experience in the NFL and the college ranks. He is just coming off of a two-year run as a defensive assistant for the Kansas Jayhawks.

The Ravens have brought in now-former Michigan defensive analyst Doug Mallory to take hold of their defensive backs coach role. Dennard Wilson held this position last season, but he is now serving as defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.

Now-former Washington Commanders offensive line coach Travelle Wharton has filled the Ravens’ assistant offensive line coach position. Wharton takes over for Mike Devlin, who is now the offensive line coach for the Los Angeles Chargers.

Finally, the Ravens have hired now-former Baylor defensive line coach Dennis Johnson for the same role. Johnson replaces Anthony Weaver, who recently took the Miami Dolphins’ defensive coordinator job. Weaver served as Baltimore’s defensive line coach over the past three seasons, and he closely worked with the likes of Justin Madubuike and Michael Pierce.

Baltimore is still on the lookout for a new assistant wide receivers coach. Keith Williams was Baltimore's assistant wide receivers coach in the 2023 season, and he filled the New Orleans Saints’ wide receivers coach position last week.
