One member of the Baltimore Ravens is thanking his lucky stars right now.

Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin, who the Ravens signed to a one-year deal back in March, left practice on Wednesday after suffering a knee injury. However, an MRI revealed that he doesn't have a knee tear according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Ya-Sin was a second-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2019. In three seasons, Ya-Sin played in 41 games with 29 starts and racked up 138 tackles, two interceptions, 20 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

The 2022 season saw Ya-Sin play for the Las Vegas Raiders where he amassed 45 tackles and seven pass breakups in 11 games with nine starts.

The Ravens are entering their first season without cornerback Marcus Peters since 2019 as he now plays for Ya-Sin's old team, the Raiders. Ya-Sin is currently in the driver's seat to start opposite Pro Bowler Marlon Humphrey so this update is exactly what the Ravens wanted to hear.
