The Baltimore Ravens added some depth to the cornerback position.
Tae Hayes, who went undrafted in 2019, was claimed by the Ravens off waivers on Sunday.
Hayes spent the 2022 season playing for the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots. He's also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, and Detroit Lions, who waived him after only a week on the roster on August 11.
In his previous four seasons, Hayes has only played in 13 games and logged 16 tackles and two pass breakups.
The Ravens will be without Trayvon Mullen in 2023 due to toe surgery. Rock Ya-Sin, Jaylon Armour-Davis, and Pepe Williams weren't available in the preseason opener for the Ravens so adding Hayes makes sense.
