The Baltimore Ravens were without one of their veteran defensive players on Saturday, but the reason was completely understandable.

Veteran defensive end Brent Urban and his wife added a son to their family according to head coach John Harbaugh and is expected to be back with the team on Sunday.

Urban was drafted in the fourth round by the Ravens in 2014. He missed his rookie campaign due to tearing his ACL, but he suited up for the Ravens until 2018.

In 2019, Urban played for the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears. His most effective season was with the Bears in 2020 when he racked up 36 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

Urban signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2021 but was placed on injured reserve that October with a triceps injury. Last season, Urban came back to the Ravens and played in all 16 games. He registered 21 tackles and a sack.

The Ravens re-signed Urban to a one-year deal back in February. Now, he has more motivation to play his heart out with his son being born.
