The Baltimore Ravens' second-round pick is officially in!

With the 59th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the Ravens select Marshall Edge Mike Green.

Green was considered a first round prospect leading up to the draft; however, off the field concerns led to his fall down the boards. Now, the Ravens have decided to take a chance.

Everything to know about Mike Green

Green is a talented pass rusher, but there was one main reason why he fell and was available for the Ravens with the 59th overall pick.

The Marshall edge has faced two different allegations of sexual assault in high school and college. He began his college career at Virginia, but was suspended in 2022 due to the allegations and transferred to Marshall.

Green addressed this at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

"There's accusations out there," he said, via NBC Sports. "I've never been questioned. I've never been asked. Nobody ever asked me a question about what happened before I departed from Virginia. It was just accusations that caused me to leave. … I'm not worried at all. … I have no concerns, and I have no problem with talking to these teams about it because I know who I am and I know the truth."

In his final collegiate season, he finished with 17 sacks and also had 22.5 tackles for loss. Because of that, he was given the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year honor.

A to Z Sports' Draft Expert AJ Schulte provided some more information on what Mike Green brings to the table.

"Mike Green has the athleticism to be a game-wrecking pass rusher, with some unbelievable movement skills that pop on film. He's on the smaller side among edge rushers at just 248 pounds and with 32" arms, and his effort in run defense comes and goes. He dominated lower competition at the Sun Belt, but got shut down at times when he would face off against tougher competition. He's a raw swing for upside that requires banking on his explosiveness and ability to close on the quarterback quickly, but he brings a fair amount of risk as well," Schulte writes.
