Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (14) runs after intercepting a pass in the fourth quarter against the Cleveland Browns at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Kyle Hamilton left the Baltimore Ravens’ home matchup against the Los Angeles Rams during the late stages of the first quarter.

Hamilton appeared to have bumped knees with Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua on the first play of Los Angeles' third drive on offense. The second-year safety did not get himself involved in the play itself, as both Tavius Robinson and Justin Madubuike brought down Royce Freeman following the running back’s 3-yard gain on the ground.

Hamilton, who recorded three tackles during the first quarter, went down after the play, and he touched base with Baltimore’s medical staff on the field. He walked to the sideline on his own power and subsequently went into the medical tent. He then made his way over to the locker room.

The Ravens have ruled Hamilton as questionable to return due to his knee injury.

Hamilton has been enjoying a potent campaign in his second season with the Ravens. He has not missed a single game this year, and he entered Week 14 ranking second on the team in snaps played on defense (784). He has also allowed a mere one touchdown catch in coverage on the season.

The Ravens are expected to call on defensive backs such as Arthur Maulet to help fill in for Hamilton amid the safety's absence.

Update: Hamilton returned to the field on the Rams' next drive on offense but was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest during the third quarter.
