Jadeveon Clowney upped his game in the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 6 win over the Tennessee Titans.
With Odafe Oweh ruled out for the contest due to his nagging ankle injury, Clowney was once again called on to help lead Baltimore’s front seven. As has been the case all season long, he delivered for the current AFC North leaders.
Clowney tallied 2.0 sacks against Tennessee, with both of them coming in the fourth quarter. He also logged four quarterback hits and two tackles for loss in Baltimore’s 24-16 victory on the day.
As noted by PFF, Clowney recorded nine pressures against his former team in Week 6, which is a new season-high for the veteran pass rusher.
Overall, Clowney sits in a tie with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa for the sixth-most total pressures this season with 29. Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby holds the top spot on this leaderboard with 38 such pressures.
Clowney just continues to show that he still has plenty left in the tank at this stage in his career.
Clowney and the Ravens are now looking ahead to a crucial test against the Jared Goff-led Detroit Lions coming up in Week 7.
