Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had some words following the news of Geno Stone signing with the Cincinnati Bengals.

"You're Dead to us, You're Dead to me," Lamar exclaimed via X/Twitter.

But it's a bit deeper than what it looks like on the surface. In fact, it's an inside joke Jackson started.

Lamar Jackson channels his inner Tiki Barber

Earlier Monday afternoon prior to the news of Stone's reported departure from Baltimore, the New York Giants watched running back Saquon Barkley agree to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles, an NFC East rival. Another former Giants running back, Tiki Barber, felt the need to chime in over the radio.

"You're dead to us Saquon," Barber said dramatically. "Good luck, you're dead to me."

Jackson found some humor in that, and reposted the quote via his Instagram story with a comment of his own.

"My new Quote 'You're Dead to me,'" Jackson wrote on his story.

So yeah, it's all jokes for Jackson, though watching your former teammate leave for another team inside the division can't be fun.

Watching people on social media freak out over an inside joke? That's hilarious.
