Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is set to make his first appearance of the 2023 season.
The Ravens have listed Andrews as active for their Week 2 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Andrews was sidelined from the Ravens’ home clash with the Houston Texans due to a quad injury. The nagging ailment had kept him out of six consecutive practices, but he was able to make his return to practice on the Wednesday leading up to Week 1. In the end, the call was made to keep him out against Houston after he was limited in practice all week.
Andrews was also limited in each of Baltimore’s first two practice sessions ahead of Week 2. He noted on Thursday that he is "continuing to get better day by day," but Baltimore still ended up handing him an injury designation of questionable.
Now, Andrews has received the green light to play on Sunday. He has tallied 533 receiving yards and six touchdown catches in nine regular season games played against the reigning AFC North champions.
