Tennessee Titans safety Kevin Byard has been called on to help contain multiple versatile tight ends through the early stages of the 2023 season. His biggest such challenge will come in Week 6, as he will meet Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews.

"They still have really good receivers, obviously Mark Andrews is an elite top-tier tight end," Byard said ahead of Week 6. "He's been one of the best in the league for a while, so it's going to be a good challenge for us and for myself covering him."

Byard is well aware of Andrews’ prowess on the field. The last time that Andrews squared off with the Titans in the regular season, he has his way against the AFC South side, tallying five receptions for 96 receiving yards and one touchdown catch in Week 11 of the 2020 season.

Andrews has opened up his sixth campaign with the Ravens on a strong note. He has hauled in 20 receptions for 225 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He is coming off of a roller-coaster outing in Baltimore’s Week 5 road defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers where, although he tallied 65 receiving yards, he did drop the football a total of three times.

The Ravens are eyeing a win over the Titans in order to avoid their first losing streak of the season.
